Pat’s Chili Beans Recipe
I have been making my favorite chili bean recipe for years for family and friends. So if you are looking for a great chili bean recipe try Pat’s Chili Beans Recipe it is delicious and a snap to make! It’s a great winter time warm up , a great meal by itself or a great side dish with any meal. Made with Sun Vista Pinto Beans, Lipton Onion Soup Mix, Sweet Peppers, XLNT Chili Con Carne and several seasonings!
Preparation Time: 20 min. Cook Time: 30 min. Total Time: 50 min. Serving 12
21/2 lbs. ground beef
2- 29 oz. can Sun Vista Pinto Beans (with juice/not drained)
28 ounces canned tomatoes (chopped or diced) (optional)
1 tsp. Lawrys Seasoning Salt
1 tsp Black Pepper
1 Pkg. Lipton Onion Soup Mix
1 tsp Granulated Garlic Powder
1/2 cup diced Sweet Peppers
1 Block Chili Con Carne
1 Tbsp. Oregano
1 tsp. Black Pepper
1 cup La Victoria Salsa
1. Pour 2 cans of Sun Vista Pinto Bean with juice in a large pot, add block of XLNT Chili Con Carne, Oregano, La Victoria Salsa & Sweet Peppers (let sit and marinate in pot with above ingredients while cooking ground beef).
2. In a large skillet add ground beef, Seasoning Salt, Black Pepper, Lipton Onion Soup Mix, Granulated Garlic Powder. Brown meat over medium heat and when done drain off the excess grease. Pour completed ground beef mixture in large pot of pinto beans & simmer 30 minutes.
Ideas: Chili Beans goes great with cornbread or crackers or over corn chips. Can also, make chili dogs or chili burgers. Good to serve at potlucks, picnics, family events, various social gatherings and various community events…
Ideal with a Sunday Meal Menu: Bar B Q Ribs, Country Greens or Cabbage, Potato Salad, Macaroni & Cheese.
